Yemen Mattari - Trail Run
Some of you may remember the insane Yemen Haraaz Red we offered last year. Sadly, that coffee may not be available this year due to quality issues so we are searching for a replacement.
Currently this coffee from Matteri is the front-runner that we are offering here as a trail run. If you get some, please let us know what you think.
Only a few bags will be available from two micro-roasts we will do on June 21st; any orders for this coffee will be shipped on Monday, June 23rd.
The Yemen Haraaz Red (96 on Coffee Review) offered last year was a unicorn in that it was exceptionally clean for a coffee from Yemen. This Yemeni coffee is a bit more rustic but still a very enjoyable adventure: brown sugar, chai tea to cardamom and preserved lemon.
As with all coffee from Yemen, it dry-processed.
