blueberry syrup…
We have not carried a Rwanda coffee for awhile but we couldn’t pass this one up once we cupped it.
From one of the better mills in Rwanda, this is a dry-prcessed coffee which is not a typical processing method for the country. The Gitesi mill serves over 1800 farmers who grow their coffee at 1700-2000 meters in the area surrounding the mill. The mill fosters a long-term relationship with the farmers by paying them an additional dividend at the end of each season.
Originally, we purchased this coffee as a bridge coffee while awaiting other incoming Direct Trade lots but we liked it so much we brought a bit more in to share with you. Rich, syrup-y, dynamic, lots of blueberries in aroma and finish, blackberries, tropical fruits/mangos, dates.
We have roast dates set up for this coffee. If you order other coffees with this one, your entire order will be roasted and shipped on the roast date.
